We are proud to announce Clinic for Vision’s participation in the United Way of Marshall County’s annual Day of Caring! Our dedicated team joined this important event to help support our local community.

Meet Our Optometrists
Originally from Wilmington, Delaware, Dr. Kate McCurdy moved to Birmingham in 1995 and graduated from Hoover High School. She completed her B.S. degree in microbiology at Auburn University. She earned her doctor of optometry degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed an externship at Tuscaloosa VA hospital.
Originally from North Carolina, Dr. Rich McCurdy completed his B.S. degree in engineering from North Carolina State University in 1991. He earned his doctor of optometry degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed an externship at Duke University Eye Center. He was awarded the Vision America Co-Management in Ocular Disease Award in his fourth year of optometry school. He also received residency training in ocular disease and low vision at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Birmingham.
